Luther Burbank OLA
Please observe that this park is an “on-leash only” park except for the OLA. The OLA here was established by King County when the park belonged to the county. It is currently not securely fenced, but is slated for full fencing sometime this year (2007). There is very nice water access to Lake WA. It functions as a regional dog park for much of the Seattle/Bellevue metropolitan area, and can be very crowded in the summer. directions: take exit # 7 from I-90, follow the little brown signs for Luther Burbank Park.

Wildwood OLA
This completely unfenced OLA is really just a designated off-leash field within a small neighborhood park. It is bordered by the neighborhood “arterial” street on one side, a swamp at the rear, and the side yards of residences on the other two sides. It is a nice place for locals to take very well trained dogs for a game of fetch. A budget for fencing and signage has been approved for 2007, however, we sincerely hope that they don’t turn this into a dog “corral”.
